Golf in the Trossachs

For golf enthusiasts, there are two local courses. Aberfoyle Golf Course is one of Scotland’s most scenic and interesting courses with breathtaking views to Ben Lomond in the west and down the Forth Valley to Stirling Castle. The 18-hole course is quite short but requires a wide variety of imagination and shot making. It is suitable for both high and low handicap players and is an ideal location for group outings.

Callander Golf Course is in a more secluded but nevertheless stunning location and has been described as having ‘diverse holes with great greens’ and being great fun to play. It is rated as one of the top ten courses in Scotland.
